No Springs Reformer Workshop :: Istanbul :: Turkey
The springs of the Pilates Reformer bed can provide both assistance and resistance.
Lighter springs/resistance will usually challenge the body to more stability as the carriage will always try to stay out and we will need to use deeper core muscles’ engagement to pull it back safely.
During the ‘No Springs Reformer Challenge’ workshop we will explore a variety of exercises to challenge the core in different ways while using no springs or minimum resistance on the reformers.
Working with no springs can also be extremely dangerous! It is not suitable for large groups but rather to one on one classes or small groups. Safety is first!!!
***All the exercises in the workshop can also be performed with resistance and be modified to different levels.
