Osteoporosis is a silent disease. It is a gradual loss of bone, and it is not a natural part of aging! The good news is that it is never too late to do something about it. Pilates, with its strong physical rehabilitation component, is good for Osteoporosis. Its low-impact, partially weight-bearing exercises, is a safe and effective program for everyone. During this workshop, we will explore and causes and symptoms of osteoporosis together with the appropriate exercises and relevant contraindications.
