Beginner and Intermediate Pilates Apparatus Education Course

This Pilates Apparatus course is your first step towards a comprehensive Pilates Apparatus certificate. You will learn how to teach fundamental, beginner, and intermediate level exercises on the Reformer and Cadillac in both group and private settings. You’ll explore different injuries, conditions, and populations, and learn how to address them with safety in mind. Learn how to spot and correct misalignments and problematic exercise executions, and come away with a deeper understanding of anatomy, posture, and hands-on teaching. Upon completion of this course, you’ll have developed excellent teaching skills, and an expanded teaching vocabulary. Through practice, games, and problem solving, this course will help uncover the teacher within you, and set you up for a successful future of teaching!

Body & Flow Pilates Apparatus I Education Course

This is your first step towards a comprehensive Pilates apparatus certificate.

 

This program provides the flexibility to progress at your own pace, with different modules that can be taken separately. In each module you will need to complete observation, assistant teaching, and personal practice hours, as well as practical and theory tests.

PREREQUISITES

  • Attendance of 30 apparatus classes, of which at least 10 are taken as privates.
  • Approval by course’ teacher.
  • Anatomy course (can be taken with Body & Flow or elsewhere).
  • Recommended – completion of a Pilates Mat program (either with Body & Flow or elsewhere).

  • Assistant teaching        85 hours

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Successful completion of all course assignments.
  • Successful completion of theory and practical test.
