This Pilates apparatus course is your first step towards a comprehensive Pilates apparatus certificate. During 95 hours (in class), you will learn to teach fundamentals, beginner and intermediate level exercises on the reformer and Cadillac in both group and private setting. We will explore different injuries and conditions and how to address them safely in class. During the course we will focus intensely on teaching skills and expanding teaching vocabulary and we will learn how to spot and correct misalignments and problematic executions. While focusing on anatomy and posture we will learn to touch in order to teach Through practice, games and problem solving, our course helps to unfold the teacher within you and will set you for the successful future of teaching!
This is your first step towards a comprehensive Pilates Apparatus certificate.
Our program provides flexibility to progress at your own pace, with different modules that can be taken separately. In each module you will need to complete observations, assistant teaching and personal practice hours as well as a practical and theory tests.
Attendance of 30 apparatus classes, of which at least 10 of which are taken as privates.
Approval of the courses teacher.
Anatomy Course (can be taken with Body & Flow or elsewhere).
Recommended – completion of a Pilates Mat program (either with Body & Flow or elsewhere).
