The 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training Course is an intensive program that aims to provide a transformative journey of self-discovery, personal growth, and professional development. By the end of the course, participants will have a deeper understanding of Vinyasa Yoga, improved teaching skills, and the confidence to share the practice with others in a safe, inclusive, and authentic manner.

The curriculum of the course includes the following:

– Vinyasa Yoga Asana Practice: Participants will attend daily Vinyasa Yoga classes to develop a strong foundation in asana practice. The focus will be on safety, alignment, breath awareness, and mindful movement through creative and dynamic sequences.

– Pranayama and Breathwork: Students will learn techniques to enhance breath awareness, control, and vitality. The importance of breath synchronisation with movement will be emphasised throughout the practice.

– Meditation and Mindfulness: Participants will explore meditation techniques to cultivate mindfulness, concentration, and inner awareness. Mindfulness practices will be integrated into the yoga sessions to deepen the mind-body connection.

– Anatomy and Physiology: An in-depth study of anatomy and physiology relevant to Vinyasa Yoga practice will be covered. Participants will learn about the skeletal, muscular, respiratory, and nervous systems and how they relate to yoga asanas and movement.

– Yoga Philosophy and History: Students will delve into the philosophical foundations of yoga, including the study of ancient texts such as the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and the Bhagavad Gita. Discussions will focus on the principles of Vinyasa, the eight limbs of yoga, and the yogic lifestyle.

– Teaching Methodology: Participants will learn effective teaching techniques, sequencing principles, and hands-on adjustments for guiding Vinyasa Yoga classes. Teaching practicums will provide opportunities for students to gain practical teaching experience and receive constructive feedback.

– Ethics and Professional Development: The course will cover ethical guidelines for yoga teachers, including boundaries, communication skills, and maintaining a safe and inclusive class environment. Students will also explore the business aspects of teaching yoga and how to build a successful yoga teaching career.
